Inferno Metal Festival

Inferno Metal Festival fer fram á páskunum í Osló og dregur að sér málmunnendur alls staðar að úr heiminum. Norskar hljómsveitir hafa alltaf verið mikilvægar í metal senunni og á hátíðinni spila bæði norskar og alþjóðlegar metal hljómsveitir sem skara fram úr. Á miðvikudeginum er klúbbadagur með tónleikum á mörgum af minni rokkklúbbunum í miðbænum.

Alls um 40 hljómsveitir á þessum fjórum páskadögum, sem gerir Inferno að stærstu metalhátíð í Noregi. Miðbærinn getur virst mjög rólegur um páskana, en það er engin hvíld fyrir hina óguðlegu. Fimmtudaga og föstudaga býður Inferno Metal Expo upp á ýmsa fyrirlestra og pallborðsumræður fyrir málmaðdáendur og fagfólk.

Í ár leggja þeir mikla áherslu á óréttlæti í trúarlegum ríkjum og bælingu listrænnar tjáningar. Þau munu ræða gildi nýja stafræna viðskiptaheimsins, varpa ljósi á ný viðskiptamódel á tímum Covid-19 og ræða stöðu norsku metalsenunnar miðað við umheiminn.

Inferno Metal Festival takes place in Oslo every Easter, and draws metal lovers from all over the world. Norwegian bands have always been important in this genre, and the Inferno festival always has big Norwegian and international names on the programme.

Wednesday is the club day, with concerts at many of the small rock clubs in the centre. Thursday to Saturday Rockefeller and John DEE is where it all happens. A total of about 40 bands in the course of these four Easter days, which makes Inferno the biggest metal festival in Norway.

The city centre can seem very quiet during Easter, but there is no rest for the wicked. Thursday and Friday the Inferno Metal Expo offers various daytime activities for metal fans and others.

This year they have a strong focus on injustice in religion-ruled countries and the suppression of artistic expression. They will discuss the value of an interactive networking environment in this new digital business world we are operating in. They will shed a light on new business models during Covid-19 times, expanding and innovating business further and will take a look at the actual status of the Norwegian metal scene compared to the rest of the world.
