Lille Metal Music Showcase

Lille Metal Music Showcase er fyrsta showcase hátíðin í Evrópu með áherslu á Metal senuna. Hátíðin verður haldin í fyrsta skiptið 6- 8 Febrúar, 2024 í Lille Grand Palais, Frakklandi. L2MS setur sérstaka áherslu á að vekja meiri athygli á Metal senunni, gera hátíðina aðgengilega og gefa upprennandi tónlistarfólki aðgang að fagfólki úr geiranum.

Lille Metal Music Showcase was born from the meeting between two professional worlds: Lille Grand Palais, creator of events and versatile place both in the organization of a show and in hosting showcases and extreme music, especially metal music. This current of music derived from rock, born in the United Kingdom and the United States at the end of the 60s, aims to be emancipatory, carrying strong values and social messages. Metal brings together a community of fans and groups, around which gravitate many professionals from different backgrounds and nationalities.

L2MS aims to respond to several wishes:
• First of all, to create an event dedicated to meetings for extreme music professionals in a hyper-accessible place, at the crossroads of Europe.

• It is also the idea of organizing an event that is asserting itself in the European musical landscape, as a springboard for emerging metal bands.

• But above all, it’s an event that aims to bring together the major players, to help young professionals understand the issues and codes of the current music scene, to create exchanges and bridges, and finally to put the spotlight on the new metal scene through showcases.

By public transport: located 5-10 min walk from the city center, Lille Europe and Lille Flandres stations, the metro and a self-service bicycle station.
By train: 35 min from Brussels, 1 hour from Paris, 1 hour 20 minutes from London,
By car: via the highway, 1200 parking spaces available
Getting to Lille by plane: 1h20 from Berlin, 1h25 from Rome, 1h30 from Copenhagen, 1h50 from Barcelona.
